Kia ora, mirror enthusiasts! J here from C&F Creation, and I hope you’re all enjoying the festive season. With another year rolling in, I’ve been getting heaps of enquiries about wall mirrors—specifically frameless, round, rectangular, and even arched designs. I thought it’d be fun to give you a little peek behind the scenes on what we’ve been cooking up with our manufacturer and share my plans for new wall mirrors heading your way in the next year.
Brainstorming New Wall Mirror Designs
Over the past few days, I’ve been chatting with our manufacturer, tossing around ideas for full-length wall mirrors that’d be perfect for Kiwi homes. While I don’t have exact dates yet, I’m pretty excited about what’s in the pipeline. We’re currently testing various styles, shapes, and sizes—plus working on upgrading the hook design so it’s both sturdy and super easy to install.
Here’s a quick rundown of what’s on my mind:
1.Arched Wall Mirrors:
•This is my personal favourite design for a wall mirror. I’m thinking one with an arch at the top and straight edges at the bottom, and maybe another with both top and bottom arched.
•For sizing, I’d love to see a narrower option around 120 cm in height and 45 cm in width—perfect for smaller apartments or tighter spaces. And for larger homes or hallways, we might do a bigger wall mirror at 180 cm by 80 cm. That gives a decent minimalist vibe while still bringing character to your home.
2.Frameless vs. Aluminium Alloy Frame:
•I’m a bit torn here because frameless mirrors look so sleek and modern, but they can be costlier to produce, especially if we want to polish all the edges to keep them safe and smooth.
•On the flip side, an aluminium alloy frame (like the ones we use for our full length mirrors NZ) provides that sturdy, finished look while protecting the edges. Why not try both, right?
3.Wave-Shaped Mirror with Fabric Surround:
•Another design I’m considering is a wavey outline, with polyester fabric around the edges. This could be used as a floor mirror or a wall mirror, at around 170 cm by 70 cm. I reckon it’d look fantastic in a bedroom or dressing room—really popular for those who love a bit of flair in their décor.
4.Semi-Arched Bold Mirror:
•This is a bit of a wildcard, but I’m imagining a semi-arched shape at the top, a bold curve at the bottom, maybe around 120 cm by 120 cm. It’d have an aluminium alloy frame in black. I see this as a statement piece—something you’d put in the hallway so that when you step through the door, you’re greeted by this giant, bold wall mirror that gives you a quick style check before you head out.
A Complement to Our Full-Length Mirrors
We already have a fantastic range of full length mirrors NZ that can stand on the floor or be used as freestanding mirrors. But let’s be honest—some folks prefer a classic wall-mounted mirror to save space, or just to get that flush, tidy look against the wall. This new collection of wall mirrors will complement our current range, giving you more options than ever to deck out your home.
Hot Tip: We’re still committed to providing the best full length wall mounted mirrors NZ has to offer, without blowing your budget. Yes, that means unbeatable pricing for every Kiwi home!
Sneak Peek: The Facet Full-Length Mirror as a Wall-Mount
For those who can’t wait for the new designs, we’ve got a cheeky suggestion: check out our Facet Full-Length Mirror (170×70 cm). It’s super versatile—you can use it as a floor mirror, freestanding mirror, or mount it on the wall. But if I’m being honest, I personally think it absolutely shines (pun intended) when wall-mounted. The clean, straight-edged design sticks right to the wall without leaving any gaps, looking like a piece of modern art.
If you’re keen to explore this option right now, pop over to our wall mirrors collection and have a gander at the Facet Full-Length Mirror. It might just be the perfect placeholder until my new designs land early next year.
Stay Tuned for More!
So, that’s a little glimpse of what I’ve been up to behind the scenes. All these wall mirror ideas—the arched shapes, frameless vs. framed, funky wave designs, and big bold semi-arches—will hopefully become a reality in the coming year. Once they’re out of the testing phase, I’ll announce all the juicy details like exact sizes, pricing, and release dates. Keep an eye on our socials and website for updates!
And if you’ve got any specific requests or ideas for future full-length wall mirror NZ styles, let me know! I’m always up for a chat, and I love hearing your feedback. After all, your enthusiasm is what pushes me to dream up these new shapes and designs.
Until next time, thank you for sticking with me on this journey—together, we’ll make the mirror world in New Zealand even more exciting. Cheers to new beginnings and more stylish reflections for your home!
